We were acquaintances who bonded over our sons’ love for sports before becoming partners in both life and business. Combining our distinct strengths, we’ve built a business grounded in our shared values of faith, fairness, and respect.
Carl: I was born in New Jersey and studied history in college, initially intending to become a teacher, while also playing college football. However, after college, I felt a strong calling toward ministry, so I completed biblical studies and became a minister. Alongside that, I coached football and baseball at various levels, from Little League to high school. During that time, I was married and had three children: Carl, Jonathan, and Justin. To support the family, I held several sales jobs, including selling insurance and furniture, while continuing to coach.
Life took a turn when I got divorced and decided to move to North Jersey with my three sons. I reconnected with Linda while selling cell phones for Verizon in 1999. We had known each other from high school—I was friends with her sister—but this reconnection felt just right. Our sons spent time together, and Linda and I were happy to rekindle our friendship. We soon began dating, bought a house together, and sold it ourselves a few years later. The owner of a local brokerage noticed our sale and saw potential in us. She invited Linda and me to become REALTORS®, and I immediately embraced the opportunity.
I love people and am naturally curious about them—their origins, last names, and backgrounds. Human connection is one of my passions, and real estate provides plenty of opportunities to connect with others in a meaningful way. Since starting this real estate journey, our lives have been forever changed! Nowadays, in addition to working with Linda in our business, I remain dedicated to helping people grow closer to Jesus. In my free time, I serve as a deacon at a Catholic church and assist with Mass.
Linda: Like Carl, I was married before meeting him. My first husband passed away, and I found myself a single mother to one boy, Daniel. During that time, I worked in marketing, doing copywriting and advertising for various products. That experience gave me a strong understanding of the power of marketing, which has served me well in real estate.
When Carl and I reconnected, it felt like it was meant to be. We had both been through previous marriages and had sons who played the same sports—it felt like God put us in each other’s paths at the right time.
When Carl got his real estate license in 2001, I thought he'd be the one diving into the business, not me! He taught history during the day and showed houses in the evening. But soon, he asked me to help with tasks he couldn’t do while teaching—and I did.
What started as an unexpected side hustle turned into a thriving business. We were winning awards every year at our brokerage and making more money than in our previous jobs. Eventually, we went all-in and now run our own real estate business –– there’s nothing else we see ourselves doing! I love showing houses, marketing them, and helping people find their dream homes. Even our son Daniel has joined the family business as a REALTOR®.
When we’re not working, we love traveling, especially to beaches or places where we can learn American history, like Boston and Philadelphia. We also stay busy with our six grandchildren, who are an absolute joy. In addition, we participate in church and Rotary Club fundraisers because service and faith are deeply important to us.
We are relational agents who build long-lasting relationships with our clients. Many of them reach out to us decades after a transaction because they trust us. We earn that trust through exceptional service and honesty, always advising against poor-quality homes. Specializing in residential and small commercial real estate, we also have experience with new construction and building homes.
Our team complements each other well—Linda excels in marketing homes, preparing them for sale and ensuring they stand out, while Carl is a skilled negotiator, finding win-win solutions for all parties involved. Fairness and respect guide us in every deal.
